After a preparation and construction period of 2 years and green maturation of 1 year. It is Scotland's newest Championship golf course, with a total length of nearly 7200 yards (from the back tees).
However the forward tees provide a really fair test and is perfect for golf breaks, society days and corporate golf days.
The course features one of the longest par 5 holes in Scotland, the 5th measures 641 yards from the championship tees.
Spey Valley is set to become one of Scotland's premier golfing venues.
Set beneath the Cairngorms, each hole has its own stunning views, whether it be bubbling water features or the brooding mass of Braeriach and Bynack More.
David Thomas is the course architect and he is of the opinion that Spey Valley may become one of his greatest creations. |
