The Locker Room :: Nike BC OZ T100 Mallet Putter Review

The guys from Nike seem to be working really hard to strike the winning formula for their golf equipment.

One of their latest releases is a new putter. The Nike BC OZ T100 Mallet Putter looks like a bit of a monster, so I set aside my trusty white hot and had the pleasure of a trip to Mosa Trajectum near Murcia to test out Nike's giant putter.

The putter has a good solid feel to it, and I was expecting the blue chip aluminium insert to give a fast roll off the face.

I was surprised to find that the putter produced a far slower release off the face and found my self struggling to get the ball to the hole.

However, as my stint on the putting green went on - I found myself becoming won over by the club. The ball seemed to hold its line well and definitely produced smooth results. I also became very quickly confident on anything under 4 feet - a sure sign that this putter can perform.

In truth, its not the prettiest looking putter on the shelf, but it grows on you and has a fairly solid feel.The grip is funky and modern in design and the head cover keeps in snug in the bag for the winter months.

Nike's commitment to golf cannot be doubted and with this Furyk like putter, there will continue to climb into the bag of the everyday golfers they crave.

Conclusion:

The Nike BC OZ T100 Mallet Putter is a solid club. The aluminium insert provides a solid, if slow roll from the face. It retails at around £120 and that seems around right for the quality of product.
