Putting Speed Drill
17 / Oct / 2007
This drill I use a lot at the start of a tournament week to get used to the speed of the greens. You need a tee peg and eight balls for this drill. The tee peg is placed a yard behind the hole. Two balls are placed 3 yards from the hole, two balls at 4 yards from the hole, two balls at 5 yards and two balls at 6 yards. ( See Pic) The idea is too get all eight balls past the front edge of the hole but short of the tee peg. If you fail with any ball you must start again.
